About the Role

We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a friendly and organised Medical Receptionist - Reliever - Central Region which includes the following locations City West, Western Hospital, Ashford, Glenelg and Woodville. You will be required to travel to all locations listed 

As the welcoming face of our clinics, you’ll provide exceptional service to patients and visitors in a fast-paced medical environment.

This role offers variety, with shifts scheduled Monday to Friday between 7:00 AM and 7:30 PM, Flexibility and travel across sites are key, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on variety and enjoys being part of a supportive, professional team. Rosters will be completed 4 weeks in advance.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage patient bookings via phone (inbound & outbound)
• Deliver outstanding patient care & service
• Support referrers and medical professionals with queries
• Handle admin, results, billing & reception tasks
• Work flexibly across call centre and reception shifts

What We’re Looking For:

• A people-first attitude with strong customer service skills
• Great communication, detail focus & multitasking ability
• A positive, team-oriented approach
• Medical admin knowledge a bonus – but not essential
• Customer service experience required
• Proven ability to work under pressure
• A positive attitude and team spirit are essential in our collaborative environment
• Experience as a medical receptionist or familiarity with medical terminology is a plus (but not required)
• Customer service experience is a must
